Marquel Rhodes is the Arapaho Charter High School Student of the Week!
A freshman at ACHS, Marquel is the son of Mark Rhodes and Tamara Warren. He has made tremendous strides over the course of the school year so far in both academics and his citizenship as a member of the student body at ACHS. "He has come so far in my class with his behavior and respectful attitude" his nominating teacher says "At the beginning of the year, Marquel struggled with class rules and doing his work. Now, he comes in every day and greets me. He participates in class, displays respectful behavior, and completes his work. I am so proud of how far he has come!" Teachers universally recognize his improvement and commitment to his education.
At ACHS Marquel participates in the school district's Food Distribution program, and takes part in all of the in-school and non-curricular activities ACHS offers. Outside of school he enjoys hunting and fishing, learning how to drive, and visiting family members that live nearby. Once he graduates from high school, he is planning to attend Wind River Job Corps to earn his certification as a welder, and eventually become an underwater welder. Congratulations, Marquel - keep up the great work!

We will make up these games on Wednesday, January 22nd, at Ft. Washakie. Both boys’ and girls’ teams will play against Ft. Washakie’s sub-varsity players.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Book It! Program is back at Arapahoe School! 🎉 This fun and rewarding reading incentive program inspires students to dive into great books, set reading goals, and earn delicious rewards. 📖✨
How It Works:
1️⃣ Set Goals: Students set monthly reading goals.
2️⃣ Track Progress: They track their progress with the help of teachers or parents.
3️⃣ Earn Rewards: When goals are met, students earn a certificate for a FREE Personal Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut! 🍕
📖 Parents, encourage your kids to participate and support their reading journey. Together, we can make reading fun and rewarding!

This past weekend, the ACHS Warriors proudly hosted Shoshone-Bannock High School from the Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho. It was an exciting start to what promises to be an incredible season for our student-athletes!
The Lady Warriors brought their A-game and celebrated a well-deserved WIN on the court! 💪
