The ACHS Student of the Week is Kylah Rhodes!
Kylah is a 9th grade student at ACHS, and has become a positive leader and contributor to the her school's climate. She is being honored for her commitment to academic success and her helpful spirit when it comes to her classmates. "Kylah is always engaged in the classroom and completes her work. She is very helpful to the other students in class in getting their work done as well, and is always ready and willing to participate in discussions and projects," said one nominating teacher.
Kylah is the daughter of Matthew Rhodes and Andrea Blackburn. She loves basketball and plays every chance she has, but also enjoys hanging out at home with her family and her dogs. She is also a track athlete, and has been previously honored for outstanding school attendance. Kylah plans to attend college in Colorado after graduating high school, and hopes to pursue a career as a lawyer. Well done, Kylah!

THE WRCAA Youth Girls Basketball Conference Tournament is happening today at Ft. Washakie. The Lady Falcons enter as the #2 seed on the merits of our 6-2 conference record, and have a competitive matchup with Wind River at 2:00pm.

Last weeks Arapaho Charter High School's Student of the Week was Lakota Felter!
A senior at ACHS, Lakota is the youngest of Robert Felter Sr. and Bridget Oldman's 4 children. He is being recognized for his focus and dedication to his academics, and has overcome some obstacles and challenges to truly excel! Nominating teachers cite his tremendous work ethic, diligence and dedication in defining his success. "Lakota is a young man of few words but much action. He is always prepared for class and works independently without reminders. He has a great sense of humor and is a real joy to have in class" stated one teacher.
Lakota is active at ACHS with the Food Distribution program, and takes joy and pride in helping out his community in this way. Outside of school he enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games, hunting, and fishing. After graduating Lakota plans to attend college to become an architect. Keep up the great work, Lakota!
