Halloween words/phrases in Arapaho.

The Charlotte Hornets have launched a new initiative entitled “Bee-Ball for All,” in which the organization will distribute 10,000 free basketballs to children ages 5-17 in the Charlotte community. The basketballs, which feature a unique “Bee-Ball for All” logo, are intended to spread a love for the game of basketball among local youth.
Thankfully, our Falcon family has friends from all over! HoHou to The Willis family for thinking of our students!
#BeeBallForAll! Thank you @hornetsgive for always giving back to the community!

Oct. 16th-20th is National School Bus Safety Week. This is the perfect time of year to revisit the safety tips we discussed at the beginning of the school year. As winter approaches and daylight hours get shorter, knowing these safety tips will help all students who ride the bus get to school safely each day.

Students & staff that missed picture re-takes, may go to Lehman Studio tomorrow, Friday, 10/20/23 12:00 - 4:00 PM.

Looking ahead to next week!

During SOAR yesterday, the Harry Potter Book Club finally got their wands!

ACHS student of the week is Amaya Lonebear! Amaya is a 10th grade, and the daughter of Youngchief Lonebear and Brittany Spoonhunter. Here at the end of 1st quarter she has grades of 100% in 5 of her 8 classes, and 99% in another. “Amaya is a ray of sunshine in class. She always has a positive attitude, even when facing difficult tasks and assignments. Amaya is a diligent and conscientious worker. She is kind to staff and students and helps out whenever she can,” says one of her teachers. Her work ethic and positive attitude are an uplifting part of our school, and she always has a kind word and a smile for those around her.

Youth Girls Game day!

Tomorrow Picture Retakes!

Northern Arapaho singer and songwriter Christian Wallowingbull spoke to ACHS students today about the power of positivity and the importance of Native American contributions to our society. He also wanted Students to know how important they are as individuals and that every one of them holds a gift inside of them for the world. Students were invited to attend this event as part of a speaker series hosted by Mrs. Pasquinelli that spotlights Native American voices of distinction from the Wind River community. Chris also performed some of his songs including "Wallowingbull" and "Rachel." Ho hou, Chris!
