The FCSD #38 Board of Trustees recognized the Fall 2020 Student Achievers at the January 25, 2021 meeting.
Congratulations to all of the students. Here are a few pictures of these awesome students.

Last night, a majority of the FCSD#38 Board of Trustees voted to begin offering in-person instruction under a Tier II/Hybrid Model beginning Monday, February 15, 2021. However, parents can chose to continue remote learning for their student for the remainder of the semester if they do not want their student to participate in-person.
Our Tier II/hybrid model allows for up to half of students in the building at one time to attend class in person two days of the week. Students who opt-in for in-person instruction will be assigned to attend either on Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday. Students will participate virtually during the days they are not physically in the classroom.
Surveys will be going out today so parents can indicate whether they are choosing to continue remote education or if they will be sending the student to school buildings.

Tips on Celebrating Martin Luther King Day
If you are celebrating the holiday with people outside your household, make sure you follow steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Here are some activities that are safer to do.
*Drop off a meal to a neighbor.
*Make hygiene kits for local homeless shelters.
*Send care packages to deployed troops.
*Plan an outdoor activity with people who live with you, such as a park clean up or walk.
*Attend a virtual speech or event, such as the annual religious ceremony.
*Plan a celebration for the people you live with.
*Reach out virtually to family, friends, and neighbors.
*Watch a livestreamed celebration from your home.
*Take care of yourself and do something you enjoy, such as reading a book or taking a walk.
*Pick up a special meal from a local restaurant to share with your household or drop off to a neighbor.
*Share CDC prevention messages with your friends and family.
And not just for Martin Luther King Day, but for all holidays, you can use any of these ideas. Stay Safe

Arapahoe Students and Families!!! The end of the 1st Semester has finally come. We know that there has been a lot of heartache and frustration this semester and we are here for you. We have chosen to allow all students to complete any missing assignments over the Holiday Break to ensure maximum learning opportunities. Students will have untill January 4th, 2021 to finish any work that they may have no completed during Semester 1. We ask all parents and guardians to assist your students in getting on and completing all of their assignments. ALL of your students assignments are on CANVAS in the designated folders. They have assignments in all content areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies and Arapahoe Language) and all Specials (Music, Art, Library and PE) that they will need to complete. They will need to complete all of their assignments prior to January 4th, 2021.
The district will have staff members available for assistance over the break for your students. Please contact the school district if your student will need extra assistance.
Stay Safe this Holiday Season and we can't wait to hit the ground running in 2021!!!
