Arapahoe Middle School Students!
Arapahoe Middle School would like to announce the opening of the student store, "Falcon Mart". Falcon Mart has been a part of the middle school leadership program for the past 6 years. The store supports student achievements in; academics, behaviors, and social influences. Students are encouraged and empowered to be the best student they can be, character counts. AMS staff recognize students when at their best or when they need some extra encouragement.
Students can earn Falcon Bucks from AMS staff when students are engaged in daily attendance, on-line coursework, zoom meeting attendance, PBIS Expectations, Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible. AMS staff can recognize students for things like, turning in assignments on time, being on time to class, perfect attendance, respectful behaviors during class time in person/or on-line virtual classrooms. Students are aware of the PBIS Expectations as it was part of the student orientation this year, for virtual and in-classroom expectations; as has been in past school years.
AMS student's each have a personal Bank account and password called Bankaroo. AMS staff deposit Falcon Bucks for above reasons; into the student accounts. The students can monitor their own accounts daily. The student is notified via Zoom meeting for their shopping day.
HoHou,

Coming by on the buses!

It is an honor and privilege to announce for the Arapahoe 1st Grade Team that Jairus Addison from Ms. Hovendick’s class is our November Student of the Month! Jairus is an energetic, confident young man who has a strong and dependable work ethic; we can count on him to do his work on a regular basis. When we were in school for testing, he was enthusiastic, attentive, and eager to participate. It is exciting to see that he is making steady progress in all areas of online learning! Jairus has a bright future ahead of him.
In an interview with Ms. Hovendick, Jairus shared the following:
• His favorite thing to do is to play outside on his trampoline, swing and ride his bike.
• His favorite color is blue.
• His favorite food is Domino's Pizza
• His favorite animals are cheetahs, koala's and baby panda's.
