1st Day of Practice for Fall Sports will begin on August 16, 2023. Sports Physicals for the 2023-2024 School Year will need to be turned in before your student(s) start participating in sports. Sports Physicals can be picked-up from your child's Primary Care Provider. Physicals can be turned into KayCee Quiver at the Middle School Front Office. Summer School Fridays!

On behalf of FCSD#38, I extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of one of our students who passed away suddenly. It is certainly a time of great sadness for our entire Arapahoe Schools community. Any time death touches us, it is stressful. This sudden death may be disturbing to you as well as to your child. It is for this reason that we especially want you to know of our care and support. As we grieve together, please know there are a number of non-school resources available to our students, staff, and community since most of our students are on summer break. Wind River Cares Behavioral Health can provide service to any patient in a crisis during normal operating hours. WRC also has a 24-hour crisis hotline available to patients. The number to the crisis line is 307-438-0706. You may also call the main phone number, 307-856-9281, to get information about intake times to receive behavioral health services. Fremont Counseling - Riverton also has a crisis hotline at 307-856-7489 available to community members who are experiencing a crisis. You may also call the main phone number, 307-856-6587, to get information about the intake process to begin receiving counseling services. Please reach out to these organizations if your student or you need additional support during this difficult time. We would like to thank the Wind River Community Alliance. For the 3rd year in a row, they’ve purchased and put together Art Kit bags for our PreK- 12 students to take home art supplies for the summer. HoHou!

ARAPAHOE SCHOOLS TO RECIEVE A $100,000 STATE-OF-THE-ART FITNESS CENTER! Today, Governor Mark Gordon and fitness icon Jake (Body by Jake) Steinfeld, Chairman of the National Foundation for Governors' Fitness Councils (NFGFC), have announced that Arapahoe Schools was selected to receive a state-of-the-art, $100,000 DON’T QUIT! Fitness Center as part of the DON’T QUIT! Campaign! The new fitness center will be located in the Auxillary Gym on the Arapahoe School campus and will be assembled this summer for use in the new school year. The District is very excited for our students to benefit from the brand new equipment coming to Arapahoe Schools. The District extends a special thank you to staff members Adam Brasel, Keanu Campbell, and Brock Kisling for creating and submitting the winning application for Arapahoe Schools.
